Melez Tea blends high quality teas and offers a collection of artisanal teas hand-crafted to fit in different
lifestyles. The brand is appreciated, together with its
high quality teas, for the sophisticated lifestyle it of-
fers to its customers. Melez Tea is located in Istanbul.
Its identity was designed by Atelier Nese Nogay earlier
in 2014. In 2016, they released limited edition series,
each containing a different selection of 3 kind of teas. Our task was to design the limited edition series. I created a custom pattern for each selec-
tion. As in original Melez’s branding each tea has its
own colour, I created the patterns combining together
the colour of each tea in that selection. I also designed
a new typographic layout for the series keeping it consistent with Melez’s original tins.
The pattern design is used on both gift packs, which
include a selection of teas in 25 gram tins and on the
square boxes, which include a selection of muslin tea
bags.
